The Covenant Church is based in Chatham, Kent. It is one of the parishes of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), an international and interdenominational church established in 1952. The church has experienced exponential growth since the 1990s and is present in 198 countries. Pastor E. A. Adeboye is the General Overseer of the ministry.
The Covenant Church was established on 4th of September 2004 as the Covenant Assembly and is currently pastored by Dr Gideon Sappor. We are a family oriented and Christ-centred church.
We believe our relationship with God as individuals enjoins us to come together as a church family and extend a hand of fellowship to the wider community in our locality. We are therefore committed to being a loving community that will demonstrate the love of Christ to everyone both Christians and non-Christians alike.
